Subsequently, alongside family collaborators, he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing his own catering enterprise.
In pursuit of excellence, Chris pursued specialized training in chocolate craftsmanship under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed figures such as Chocolatier & Patissier Martin Chiffers and UK World Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks. Notably, his dedication culminated in triumph at the UK Pastry Open in 2015, clinching both the Chocolate Showpiece and Taste categories and earning the distinguished titles of UK Champion for the year. Additionally, he expanded his repertoire through comprehensive studies in ice-cream preparation under the esteemed guidance of Luc Debove MOF Glacier.
Chris's ascent in the culinary world reached new heights in 2017 when he represented Team UK at the prestigious Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie, securing a coveted position among the world's top 5 with his exceptional chocolate showpiece. Throughout his illustrious career, Chris has garnered an impressive array of accolades across various facets of pastry craftsmanship, with his innovative creations garnering acclaim from both domestic and international media. Notably, his talents were recognized with a commissioned chocolate display for Her Majesty The Queen and the King of Bahrain in 2018.
Presently, Chris leverages his wealth of experience and expertise through his consultancy agency, offering advisory services both domestically and internationally. Complementing this role, he serves as a lecturer at esteemed catering colleges, imparting his knowledge to aspiring culinary professionals, while also conducting tutorials and demonstrations at specialized workshops. Furthermore, Chris oversees the operations of his flourishing pastry enterprise, Sweet BakeArt, a testament to his enduring commitment to excellence in the culinary arts.
