Born and raised on the sunny Island of Malta, Chris enrolled at the Malta Institute of Tourism Studies where he developed a passion for all things pastry. He started his working career with some of the finest hotels in Malta before moving to the UK to further enhance his catering experience. After a few years with some of the elite hotels in East Sussex, jointly with family members, he branched out to form his own catering business.

In the meantime, he studied chocolate techniques under the internationally renowned Chocolatier & Patissier Martin Chiffers and UK World Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks. In 2015 he participated in the UK Pastry Open in Chocolate Showpiece and Taste, winning both categories and is UK 2015 champion of both awards. Chris also studied ice-cream preparations under Luc Debove MOF Glacier. In 2017, he formed part of Team UK at the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie earning him a spot in the world's top 5 with his chocolate showpiece.

Over the years, Chris has won numerous awards in all aspects of pastry work and his creations have been acclaimed in both local and foreign media. A recent chocolate display was commissioned for HM The Queen.

He has now set up his own agency doing consultancy work both locally and abroad. He lectures at catering colleges, tutors and gives demonstrations at specialised workshops.
